Kurnool District
“We will investigate and ensure justice as per law” – Kurnool SP Vikrant Patil
A total of 115 complaints were received during the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) program.
Kurnool District SP directed police officials to respond promptly and resolve complaints efficiently received through the grievance platform.
He also personally visited elderly people who could not walk and enquired about their issues.
The SP conducted the Public Grievance Redressal Program on Monday at his camp office located beside the Kurnool Two Town Police Station in Kottapeta, Kurnool.
People from various parts of the district attended the program. The SP interacted with complainants, listened to their grievances, and understood their problems in detail.
A total of 115 complaints were received. Some of them include:
1. Land dispute:
Ramalakshmamma from Madam Compound, Kurnool requested justice in a land dispute.
2. School entrance exam issue:
Jaya Sangeetha from Santosh Nagar complained that the APJ Abdul Kalam School near Kurnool Control Room is not conducting entrance exams and requested proper admission tests for Class 6.
3. Harassment complaint:
Balanayak from Panyam reported harassment and torture from his wife’s relatives and requested protection for himself and his children.
4. Job fraud (₹10.3 lakh):
Prabhavati Bai alleged that Kasturi Sudarshan took ₹10.30 lakh promising a software job for her son and cheated her.
5. Land encroachment:
Munemma from Alankonda village, Krishnagiri Mandal complained about illegal construction on government-allotted house site land.
6. Loan/plot fraud:
R. Vijayalakshmi from One Town alleged that Anil Krishna from Emmiganur cheated her after taking ₹50,000 as advance interest and failing to provide a promised loan and plot.
7. Hit-and-run accident:
Harikrishna from Gadwal district reported that a car hit his bike near Panchalingala and fled, causing the death of his 4-year-old son. He requested tracing the vehicle and justice.
8. Job fraud (₹4.7 lakh):
Uday Kumar from Dhanalakshmi Nagar alleged that Sharath Goud took ₹4.70 lakh promising a software job in Hyderabad and cheated him.

The SP assured that all complaints will be investigated legally and justice will be delivered, with efforts to resolve issues quickly.
